Every journey to a healthier smile starts with an initial consultation!
An initial consultation serves as an opportunity to get to know our team, learn more about orthodontics, receive a comprehensive exam, and find out what treatment options will work best for your case. During the initial consultation you can expect the following:

Review your dental and medical history forms

A thorough oral exam, with X-rays, to determine whether treatment is necessary

Design a custom treatment plan.

Explain all financial information, insurance options, and payment plans.

Our team is very knowledgeable and can answer any questions you have to ensure that you can make an educated decision in terms of your treatment. Contact our office today to schedule your initial consultation and start your process toward a new and improved smile!

What happens after the initial consultation?

Congratulations, you have completed your first step toward your new smile. Now that your consultation is completed, we can schedule your first appointment for the doctor to place your new orthodontic appliance. You should set aside approximately one hour of your time for this appointment. During this time, the doctor and his team are available to answer any additional questions you make have and put your mind at ease.

Scheduling appointments

Once your orthodontic appliance is placed, you will be asked to visit our office every four to eight weeks. This is an important part of your orthodontic treatment because it allows the doctor to evaluate your progress and make adjustments to your treatment plan if necessary. We will do our best to make your appointments as convenient as possible.

We understand that life is full of surprises. If you find yourself running late or unable to make your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you. When you are ready to begin your treatment, schedule your first appointment by calling our scheduling coordinator. We are excited to get to know you and be a part of your new smile journey.

Visiting the dentist during orthodontic treatment

During your orthodontic treatment, it is important to continue receiving your routine dental checkups and teeth cleanings with your family dentist as recommended, usually every six months. If you need any additional dental care during your orthodontic treatment, we will coordinate with your family dentist to make sure that we maximize the level of care you receive.
